We are an independent, full-service green construction company specializing in Passive House Building Standards and we provide interior and exterior work in the Seattle-area and throughout Western Washington.

Exteriors
With sustainably-sourced quality materials and methods, Love Construction provides services to construct exterior foundations, retaining walls, driveways, siding, windows, doors, detached accessory dwelling units (DADUS), fencing and decks. Love Construction also builds pergolas, sheds and studio spaces which will add value to your home.

Interiors
Love Construction works closely with local Seattle designers and architects, following methods of Passive House building to optimise design and materials for green-living. We build new kitchen and bathroom designs, install flooring and basement and attic finishes. Interior construction is managed by our founder Aaron to ensure a smooth buildout in your home.
Consultation process
Contact Love Construction and our founder Aaron will be in touch to get to know you and your construction needs in-person or remotely by video.
The team will ask you about your needs and objectives and will create an initial design by sharing idea boards, pinterest boards and collected images. Once an initial concept has been been mutually agreed upon, Love Construction will establish parameters of potential cost and timelines of each stage of construction until completion.
You will receive a proposal to highlight your objectives, designs, materials, dates and costing to feel very much a part of the Love Construction process.

Design process
At Love Construction we actively listen to your needs and goals in terms of functionality and design for every construction project.
We work closely with established architects and designers to ensure your vision is completed to meet specifications with quality and assurance. We apply Passive House techniques to build with sustainable practices and materials for environmentally-friendly construction.
We work with designers Brio Interior Design and Seriously Happy Homes.
Our architects are Shugart-Wasse, Matt Wasse, Tony Case, William Shugart, Joseph Luckey and Mentor Byrne.
Our go-to engineer is Peter Opsahl.

Construction process
At your Love Construction initial consultation we will be able to give you an estimate of the construction process and timeline according to the design specifications and materials your project requires.
We pride ourselves in active communication to ensure our clients are updated and kept in the loop every step of the way.
Our team is hand-picked for their skills and experience and positive mentality towards quality construction.
Beyond the act of construction and as a promise to our mission and quality of work, we ensure we complete all plans and permits before the work begins and after design takes place.
We will share our schedule with you which will highlight the necessary inspections required to complete the construction project.

Our founder, Aaron Hundtofte, is actively involved in every step of the construction process from deck building to entire kitchen installations to home builds. The Love Construction team works closely together to complete deadlines and provide skilled and high-quality work.

Completion and aftercare
From excavation to the finishing touch of adding the last piece of hardware of the front door handle, Love Construction is with you from the start to finish of a construction project and beyond.
The scale and quality of Love Construction services includes a 30 day check-in after the completion of your construction project. Our founder also provides a yearly check-in to ensure our clients are pleased with the design and functionality of their bathroom or kitchen install, fence, deck, any service we provide.
